Meet in a safe location

For local pickups and trades, meet at a police-station safe exchange zone or a busy, well-lit public place.

• Use a designated safe exchange spot (many police stations offer one).
• Meet during daylight hours.
• Bring a friend and inspect the item before paying.

Never meet at a private home or wire money in advance. Trade & Post never holds payments. Trade & Post's owners and affiliates are not liable for anything that happens during an in-person meetup — proceed at your own risk.
